Dear “e-mentor” Readers,

It is my pleasure to present to you the June issue of our magazine, the last one before the break. This time we emphasise the problem of modern didactic process, focused mostly on distance learning teachers' perspective. Among others, the issues of students adaptive testing and the advantages of manager cockpits - business intelligence tools - used in the education process were raised. The above mentioned cockpits serve to integrate and visualize the data enabling teachers, as well as students, to grade and monitor educational progress. I also recommend the article on problems faced by distance learning teachers at continuous and practical skills learning institutions to all readers interested in education processes, not only on academic level. Those issues are only a part of what the June edition of “e-mentor” discusses. I encourage you to acquaint yourself with the environmental debate report focused on the future of higher education and science which was organized by Ministry of Higher Education and Science at Warsaw School of Economics, as well as with interesting research papers on academic and occupational education process, and e-business.
